Good health is the most valuable thing a person can have, but one cannot take good health for granted. It is important to remember that the body needs proper ca re in order to be healthy. There are three things that a person can do to help stay in good shape: eat right food, get enough sleep, and exercise regularly.

Proper nutrition (营养) is important for good health. Your body cannot work well unless it receives the proper kind of “fuel”. Don't eat too much food with lots of  sugar and fat. Eat plenty of foods high in protein (蛋白质) , like meat, fish, eggs and nuts. Ve getables and fruits are very im portant because they provide necessary vitamins (维他命) and minerals. However, don't overeat. It is not helpful to be overweight.

Getting the proper amount of sleep is also important. If you don't get enough sleep, you feel tired and easily get angry. You have no energy. Over a long period of time a little amount of sleep may even result in a change of personality. Be sure to allow yourself from seven to nine hours of sleep each night. If you do, your body will feel strong and r efreshed, and your mind will be sharp.

Finally, get plenty of exercise. Exercise firms the body, strengthens the muscles, and prevents you from gaining weight. It also improves your heart and lungs. If you follow a regular exercise program, you will probably increase your life-span (寿命).Any kind of exercise is good. Most sports are excellent for keeping the body in good shapes: basketball, swimming, bicycling, running and so on are good examples. Sports are not only good for your body, but they are enjoyable and interesting, too.

I went to the Chinatown market in L ondon last Sunday. The first thing I did was to go to one of the Chinese green grocers’ shops. As soon as I entered the shop, I smelt mixtures of Chinese spices and saw the new season’s fruits. My son wanted a bag of sweets, so we popped into the shop next door which sells many kinds of candy.

There’s a lot of noise in the Chinatown market and you will see many tourists too. There are a lot of cars and trucks that never stop beeping. While people are loading and unloading their goods, most of them have their cars and  trucks parked in the middle of the road. This causes great inconvenience for other drivers. Can you imagine that?

After we had done all our shopping, my son and I went to a restaurant for lunch. We enjoyed our meal very much. But the shopping made us both very tired at the end. We headed down the road to catch our bus home. My son and I enjoyed riding in the bus. We also enjoyed looking at different buildings and people walking by dressed in fancy outfits. Although Chinatow n can be a busy place to shop, I do enjoy going there now and then. I can buy some of my necessities, and I can also look and browse around the other shops and department stores where I can indulge (使沉迷) myself with some nice things. Chinatown is located in the heart of central London where you can find tons of shops and other places to amuse you. And for me, I certainly don’t mind going back there again soon.

You may argue with your partner and end up in a quarrel; or you disagree with a friend, and ha ve an argument with him or her. In either case, you end up feeling low, and want to make up as soon as possible. The only way is to say “sorry”! This is the most precious word in the English language. Read on to find out how to say sorry in the right way.

The first thing to remember is not to hide your feelings. Apologize only if you really do feel sorry. Do not lie or give false excuses. Even if it takes the person a long time to respond (回应),do not let your temper rise, since you cannot expect a person to accept your apology at once. Give your partner time to cool off a bit, and then apologize. It is always better to sort thing s out quickly. Remember that it does no good to keep arguing about who is right or wrong when tempers are flying.

When apologizing, always look the other in the eyes, and stay calm. Do you want to know how to say sorry to a girl? Once you’ve accepted that you’ve make a mistake, meet her in person to apologize. Never say sorry to a girl on the phone. You can say sorry with flowers or with a card. Small gifts are also very effective.

It can be difficult to say sorry after a fight. A written apology for an unforgivable mistake, such as cheating, is often the best way.

Owning up to a mistake is very important, and it takes courage to apologize for bad behaviour. Your effort will not change the past, but can have a big effect on the future.
